Good News for IT Techs!

eWeek News is reporting that the new Bureau of Labor Statistics data is showing growth for IT hiring (except for data processing positions) for the previous year, including 8 straight months of increasing hiring.  While not spectacular growth, only 21 job catagories are tracked by the BLS, so the relatively small number is jobs added is expected.

The highest number of postions were added in communications equipment  and computer and peripherals equipment, or infrastructure jobs, according to the article.
