Stanbridge College Alumni are eligible to take a one-day Respiratory Ventilator Competency Course to develop a better understanding of respiratory, ventilator, tracheostomy equipment and procedures.
Between Nurse.com and PBS, we found some interesting factoids on blood transfusion. Of course, the Nurse.com factoids came from Susan Baimbridge, RN, CCRN-CSC, ADCNS-BD. She’s from St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, and recently spoke about blood conservation during cardiac surgery.

Stanbridge nursing students participated in Orange County’s Free Clinics in the spring and fall of 2010. At the event, volunteers were able to bring their classroom skills to the public by administering free flu shots. Students learned how to work with patients, prepare and administer flu shots and take care of patient administration forms.
