Serving the Orange County Needy with a Warm Meal and a Smile

On Saturday June 11, the Stanbridge community once again gathered at the Lighthouse Ministries Church in Costa Mesa to serve the homeless of Orange County. Upon arrival, over 300 adults and children were greeted by a receiving line of the volunteers ready to welcome and invite them in for a warm meal. The needy were served a warm meal of roasted chicken, mash potatoes, mixed vegetables, dinner rolls and ice cream for dessert. Over 30 Stanbridge students, faculty and staff volunteered their time, gave donations and offered songs and words of hope for those in attendance.

To all of the volunteers and those who donated to support this event, we sincerely thank you!
