Hospital Acquired Infections, or “HAI’s”, continue to be a leading cause of death in hospitals. For this reason, disease prevention and infection control remain the highest priority among hospitals, doctors, and health care organizations. As a new graduate, it is imperative you understand the latest policies and procedures as they relate to infection control.

The Infection Control Workshop is designed to give you an in-depth understanding of the appropriate use of protective equipment and the latest techniques used by nurses and doctors to prevent the spread of infection.
