Stanbridge Students Raise Funds Creating Clean Water in Rural African Village

Stanbridge Students Raise Funds Creating Clean Water in Rural African Village In March and April of 2009, the Stanbridge College community took action to combat the clean water crisis in Africa by raising money to fund the creation of a water well in a rural African village.

Through the assistance of Stanbridge College students, faculty and staff, funds were raised in record time to complete the fundraising campaign.  A Well Kit was purchased from Mercy Corps with the raised funds, which helps communities create healthier environments for children and families by building wells and developing other reliable sources of water.
